Hello, friends!

The In From The Storm Group meets every Tuesday from 7:30-8:30 P.M. at the YANA CENTER on 36 Carpenter St. in Keene, NH 03431. We are strictly an in-person meeting and do not offer a Zoom option. We hold our business meeting the Tuesday before Area Service (the Tuesday before the last Sunday of the month).

Our group has met four times since the previous area meeting held on 29-Sep-2024. Our attendance has ranged between 9-10 addicts per meeting throughout this time. We collected $55 in cash and $20 in Venmo during the past four weeks. However, we will not be making a donation this month due to our need to purchase prizes and food supplies for our upcoming Halloween event this coming Tuesday, 29-Oct-2024.

During the last four weeks, our meetings have been structured around readings from the Just Today book and the Basic Text. The readings have inspired intimate sharing, laughter and a sense of community.

Also, as mentioned last month, we are hosting a Spooky Halloween meeting (aka Spooker Meeting) for Tuesday, October 29th. There will be costume contest with prizes for first, second and third place! A flyer is available at our meeting, and can be shared electronically if your group needs one. The event will begin at 6:00 P.M. for food and fellowship. The ‘Spooker’ meeting will begin at 7:30 and end at 8:30. We have an out-of-town speaker you won’t want to miss, so please join us! Also, please bring some food/beverage to share and be sure to wear a costume if you want to participate in the Costume Contest!

Our home-group continues to grow and we are a welcoming bunch. We carry the message of recovery at each meeting. We continue to meet at our designated dinner spot of the Keene Co-Op around 6:30 for food before the meeting. We invite all to join us to share in our fellowship, laughter and recovery on Tuesday night in Keene!
